embracing film mistakes.

For whatever reason, I haven't shared these film images here before. These images were in the trash, but then I re-opened the files and decided that I DID in fact like these images & they were worthy of a share. They were originally culled for either having light leaks, too much grain, weird colour casts on skin, being out of focus, having weird facial expressions or horizons going straight through subjects' heads (bad, bad, bad mistake Samara). In any case, I've decided to embrace the mistakes I've made while learning to shoot film and I've also learned to love these images. Film images are not always perfect (especially mine) & that's half the appeal of them I guess? For every one image I make that I absolutely love, there are sometimes three others that are not quite there, but they're special in their own right.
