I've worked out exactly the type of photography that makes my work unique and also makes me so, so happy - it's capturing my family on our farm and I'm enjoying the fact that it comes pretty effortlessly to me, probably because it's just meant to be. It took me a while to find my niche, but I've found it, and photographing this will be an ongoing project, probably for the rest of my life. It took me two photography workshops (with two of the very best who continually inspire me to capture personal images), countless hours looking at other photographers’ personal images/projects on the Internet and millions of clicks on my own cameras to finally work it out, and to think that it was under my nose the whole time!!! Images taken on our family farm represent everything that I am. I want people to see an image of mine and know instantly that I took it (without it being watermarked) and feel a connection to it. Viewers should see me and everything I am when they look at a personal image of mine. I hope you see the colour, connection and humor that I try to convey through my personal photography. This is what I also hope to capture for other people when I return to professional shooting.
