Taking pics everywhere I go often helps to jog the memory of exactly what we have been doing as a family. It’s so crazy busy this time of year, the mind races a million miles an hour, it becomes harder to remember all the wonderful things we have done and exactly where the time has gone.
These past few weeks have been special, catching up with some other small people who also mean a lot to us. There’s nothing quite like having a baby along side an old school friend to bring you back closer again. Happy first birthday Tex!
We celebrated Sonny’s first birthday right after the gastro bug invaded our house and just prior to us ALL getting conjunctivitis. Sonny was teething too at this point so it was pretty tricky trying to keep the little man happy.
The rangers united out at Doodlakine. It will be so nice spending more time with Corben over Summer.
I bought a film camera, took part in amazing film workshop ran by Jonathan Canlas & then began shooting film. I’m currently waiting on scans from a lab in America and I am so nervous. I will be shocked if anything comes back that is half decent. I am looking forward to blogging & sharing my film journey with you all as it unfolds. I’m learning so much & I feel completely out of my depth. Sonny's new favourite things to play with are film canisters and he had a ball pulling a busted roll of film to bits recently. Jonathan also photographed my family when he visited Perth. I can’t wait to see exactly what he managed to capture for us.
Christmas concerts, dance concerts, rides on Harleys, school break – ups and end of year drinks are consuming us at the moment. How lucky are we – life is great!!! We are however thinking of all those enduring hardships at the moment, especially those caught up in the recent traumatic events in Sydney. WTF is wrong with some people?
